Dear Friends of Animals and Donors,
Every abandoned life matters, and for many cats in need, you are their only hope. Your support can mean the difference between survival and suffering. Together, we can create a world where no cat is left forgotten, hungry, or homeless.
Join us in our mission to provide these furry souls with a safe home, medical care, and the love they deserve. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal – building a shelter and cat park where cats will have the chance to live a new life full of joy and care.
Thank you for helping animals that cannot help themselves. Together, we can change their destinies! ❤️
My name is Lucie Oravcová,
founder of the Animal Protection Association Litoměřicko in 2017

I was motivated by the desperate situation of abandoned cats, a reality I could no longer ignore. Seeing these innocent creatures struggle to survive on the streets—cold, hungry, and often sick—broke my heart.
It began with a single stray kitten I found hiding under a bush, weak and barely clinging to life. Nursing it back to health was a profoundly emotional experience, and it opened my eyes to the overwhelming number of cats facing similar struggles. That one moment of connection sparked a deep sense of responsibility and purpose.
Since then, my life has changed drastically, and the feline world has completely absorbed me. Every rescued cat comes with its own story of hardship and resilience, and each one deepens my commitment to this cause.
Once you start, there’s no turning back. Their silent cries for help, their resilience despite suffering, and the joy of seeing them recover fuel my determination every day. Unfortunately, the number of homeless, sick, and suffering cats continues to grow with no end in sight, and it’s clear to me that I cannot stop until every one of them has the care and love they deserve. This journey, though challenging, has become my life’s mission, and I am determined to give these cats a second chance at life.
Broken Roofs, Broken Lives: Together, We Can Fix Both!
The building designated for our shelter project is located in the serene outskirts of Zimoř 6, Czech Republic, surrounded by nature yet easily accessible for volunteers and visitors. It has immense potential, but it currently requires significant repairs to become a safe and welcoming space for abandoned cats.
The roof is old and leaky, with moldy, deteriorating beams that must be replaced to ensure the structure’s stability and protection from the elements. Inside, the rooms are spacious yet in need of refurbishment to create comfortable environments where the cats can recover and thrive. Once repaired, this building will serve as a sanctuary for cats in need, providing them with warmth, security, and care.
Equally important is the construction of a proper fence around the property. Currently, the area lacks adequate fencing, leaving the space exposed and unsafe for its future residents. A secure, high-quality fence will ensure the safety of the cats, allowing them to enjoy outdoor areas without the risk of escaping or encountering external dangers.
This fence is vital for their well-being and peace of mind, creating a haven where they can roam freely and confidently. With your support, we can transform this building and its surroundings into a true home for cats in need.

Who Will We Help?
With the construction of the shelter and park, we will be able to continue helping cats in need. Sadly, cats remain on the outskirts of people’s and municipalities’ interests, and there is a severe shortage of shelters.
We help cats in a 40 square mile area. Our reach is extensive. People are desperate, finding abandoned, sick, and injured kittens, but there are no shelters nearby. So, who is supposed to help them?
They cry silently through the night, without their mother or any help. They beg for assistance, but often, no one hears them. They are hungry, yet no one sees them. Hunger, pain, and cold are their only companions.
These poor creatures huddle in bushes, suffering not only from hunger but also from diseases and parasites that devour them alive.
Your financial contribution will help us repair the shelter so we can take in more cats and provide them with the care they need.
Nearly Every Day: A Desperate Kitten or Cat in Need
Inflamed eyes, colds, and kittens emaciated to the bone—this is our daily reality. These creatures are often on the brink of life, suffering immensely.
Their eyes, full of pain and inflammation, are a tragic consequence of street life, as are the colds, which are extremely uncomfortable for them. When starving, emaciated kittens arrive at our shelter, they are often at death’s door due to lack of food.
At our shelter, we strive to provide immediate care for these abandoned and sick cats. We take them to veterinarians, treat their eye infections, colds, diarrhea, and administer medications.
Most importantly, we give them the love and attention they so desperately need. These rescue missions not only save lives but also give these cats a second chance at a happy and healthy life.

Old and Unwanted Cats: We Care for Them Too

Caring for senior cats is a vital yet often overlooked aspect of animal rescue work. Older cats face many challenges, from health issues to social isolation.
Unfortunately, there is a widespread lack of interest in adopting and caring for these cats. Many find refuge in shelters where they are cared for but rarely find the peace they deserve.
In response to this neglect and loneliness, we are committed to creating a calm and loving environment for these feline seniors. We want to provide a space where these pawed veterans can spend their final years in comfort and safety, surrounded by the care and attention they deserve.
We aim to change perceptions and show that older cats still have so much love to give and make wonderful additions to families.
A Safe Haven for Shy Cats
Shy cats often suffer in shelters for years without a chance at a home. They frequently come from places where they are unwanted, seen as a nuisance, and face extermination threats.
The cat park will be a permanent, safe home for them, offering the freedom to roam a spacious garden enclosed by a secure fence. If a cat begins seeking human contact, it will have the opportunity to find a forever home.
Education, Café, and Cuddling

The park will be connected to a shelter, cat café, thrift shop, and spaces for people to gather.
There will be seminars, educational programs, and school visits. Visitors will have opportunities to volunteer, care for cats, walk dogs, socialize with the animals, and help build a community of friends who share a love for animals.
Educating the Next Generation
We believe that educating children and teenagers about abandoned cats has an undeniable impact on the future.
Early exposure to this issue not only raises awareness about the suffering of abandoned cats but also helps instill values of empathy, care, and responsibility.
- Empathy Development: Programs cultivate empathy and compassion in children by introducing them to the struggles of abandoned cats.
- Responsibility Education: These activities highlight the responsibilities involved in pet care, teaching children that adopting or helping abandoned animals is a responsible decision.
- Prevention of Animal Abandonment: Educating children about the consequences of abandoning animals can help prevent such problems in the future by promoting greater accountability.
- Inspiring Volunteerism: Programs can inspire children to engage in volunteer activities related to animal care, potentially sparking a lifelong commitment to helping animals.
Visits from school groups to our shelter and park would serve as a valuable tool for education, fostering ethical values, and promoting animal care.

How Can You Help with Roof and Fence Repairs?
- Financial Contributions: Every donation, big or small, helps us create a safe and loving environment for abandoned cats.
- Sharing: Spread the word about our fundraiser on social media, among family, friends, and acquaintances. The more people get involved, the greater our chance of success.
Your support is not just for us but for every cat that we can provide with a safe home. Help us save lives and make the dreams of abandoned animals a reality.
By acquiring the property, we have taken on a challenging task, but we trust in your support. The land includes several buildings, and our first priorities are repairing the roof and fencing the entire area. The roof is old, leaky, and the beams are moldy and deteriorating. The fencing is inadequate or missing entirely. Ensuring the safety of the cats is paramount, and the fence must be secure enough to prevent escapes.
If the target amount is not raised, we will seek alternative solutions. Any surplus funds will go towards completing the Cat Park and shelter. The project is large and financially demanding, but it is the only way we can continue to help. The cats need us; we cannot leave them neglected and without help.
Please help us fulfill the dreams of these cats—to have full bellies, loving care, and a safe outdoor space. Dogs will also find support with us, and we believe that surrounding communities will welcome this effort.
Thank you to all donors who join us in helping. We also appreciate every share—let your family, friends, and acquaintances know about us. Share through any social network, email, or other platforms.
